Pupils should bring a note with the following details
- Name and register class of pupil
- Date of appointment
- Time of appointment
- Time pupil needs to leave the school
- Time pupil is expected back in school
- Signature of parent/carer
Pupils who need to leave a lesson to attend their appointment should show the note to their class teacher at the start of the lesson.
Pupils must leave the school via the front door. They should hand their note to a member of staff in reception before they leave the building.
It is the responsibility of parents to account for absence. A note should be brought to school containing the following information.
- Name and register class of the pupil
- Date of start of absence
- Date of return
- Reason for absence
- Signature of parent
If a pupil returns from absence on a day when there is no registration period, the absence note should be posted in the box beside the main office the first time the pupil is passing the office.
If the pupil returns from absence on a day when there is a registration period, the absence note should be passed to their registration teacher.
