<p>Pupils are reminded that rehearsals for the Awards Ceremonies will take place on the day of the ceremony at the following times:</p>
<ul>
<li>S4 – Thursday- period 2</li>
<li>S5 &amp; S6 – Friday – period 2</li>
</ul>
<p><em><strong>Pupils receiving an award should report directly to the assembly hall at the start of period for the rehearsal.</strong></em></p>
<p>Pupils should have the correct school uniform of black trousers or skirt, white shirt with collar, school tie and clean black shoes.</p>

<p><strong>Fife Cross Country Championships</strong><strong></strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Aiden Thompson won a close battle to win the senior boys race (4,5,6) even though he is only a fourth year.  Katey Turner returning after injury to come second.  Katey showed a lot of guts as she was running in pain.  Lauren Pirouette was third in the first year girls, with Sophie Nethery coming fourth.</p>
<p>The senior boys team of Aiden Thompson, Aron Lynas, Fergus McGaw, Scott McAlpine, Scott Gray, Jack Matson and Robbie McSkimming won the gold medal.</p>
<p>The senior girls team of Katey Turner, Katie Reid, Rachel Hunter, Amy McAlpine, Chloe Nethery, Ashley Smythe and Shannon Clark won the girls race.</p>
<p>The first year girls team of Lauren Pirouet, Sophie Nethery, Kirsty Baxter, Amy Johnstone and Phoebe Condie came second.</p>
<p>Please could all medalists come down at interval on Friday for a photo.  I have the medals.  Please bring trainers and shorts, I will give you school kit.</p>

It provides an opportunity to be physically active for 30 minutes, half of your recommend daily amount, between 1.20 – 1.50 pm. The walk is led by a walk leader who sets the pace and the walks take place within the local area. Appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear should be worn! <p>The athletes competed at the Scottish Indoor Athletics and did very well, winning five Silver and one Bronze medal.</p>

<li>Lewis Hunter won Silver in the 400 metres.</li>
<li>Bethany Finlayson won Silver in the 60 metres.</li>
<li>Kirsten Loudon won Silver in the High Jump.</li>
<li>Aiden Thompson won Silver in the 1500 metres.</li>
<li>Naomi Fox won a Bronze medal in the 60 metre hurdles.</li>
</ul>
